Bamboo Fibre

100% Natural Bamboo Fibre.

2/28 Nm (1-ply). 100g cone = 1400 metres.

Bamboo plant bast fibre is extracted from the stem of the plant and converted into yarns to make fabrics. It is considered a renewable and sustainable crop. Bamboo fibre is reasonably strong, highly breathable with a superior resistance to bacteria and ultraviolet light. It is also finer and stronger than viscose (regenerated) bamboo.

Helpful Hints:

Knit using 3 strands on a 5 gauge (Standard Gauge), 2 strands on a 7/8gauge and 1 strand on a 12 gauge. Wash delicately in water 30oC for 10 mins with neutral soap. Good for dyeing.
