Produced and made in Britain from Blue Faced Leicester sheep, providing one of the softest wools that can be bred in the British climate.

Blue face lustre fleece is soft, shiny, strong and it has long staples (25-26 microns). The fibres do not have scales on the surface like some other wools (scales are what make our skin itchy) making it soft enough to wear next to the skin. It spins, felts and dyes beautifully. Ecru is recommended for dying.
